My love of tea began with many conversations with my Grandma over a cup of tea.  Over the years, tea has brought me feelings of warmth and comfort.  It is the cool refreshment that I bring along when I hike our beautiful, local trails or spend a day on the lake.  I started Tastea Treats because I wanted others to be able to experience the feelings that tea brings me.

About Our Products

Tastea Treats offers a wide variety of quality loose-leaf tea.  Our teas are small batch blended and packaged in Canada.  The farms that the teas are sourced from are inspected annually to ensure that they meet stringent standards for social responsibility and environmental sustainability.  We also offer a choice of accessories to allow you to find the steeping method that best fits your lifestyle, and a selection of gift items.

Our Tea Room & Gift Shop

Opening Tastea Treats Tea Room & Gift shop in Markdale was a long time dream coming to life.  In a world that seems constantly rushed, I wanted to create a space where people could come in and escape the stress of the day.  I wanted to share my love of tea with the people around me, and to make good quality tea easily accessible. I dreamed about people coming in with friends or loved ones and connecting over a cup of tea and a treat, and I truly enjoy meeting the wonderful people who pass through my door.
